Summary
"Papua New Guinea: A Feather in the Cap" was a companion exhibition to "Feather Arts: Beauty, Wealth, and Spirit from Five Continents", and featured a collection of black and white photographs, taken in Papua New Guinea, of ceremonial headgear created from feathers. Each photo appeared with a color photo of the bird from which the feathers were taken. This Exhibit of the Month, supported by the Arthur Ross Foundation, was on view in the Akeley Corridor on the second floor of the American Museum of Natural History during the month of April, 1980.
