Summary

"Through a Child's Eyes" featured over 30 fairy tale illustrations by Argentine children. It opened with an address of welcome by the Argentine Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Enrique J. Plate. Among the subjects depicted were courtier ants, giant flowers, weeping mushrooms and multi-colored birds. To obtain the artwork, a contest was held, open to adult writers, for folk and fairy tales and a subsequent one, opened to school children, for the best illustrations to the winning stories. The drawings were exhibited with corresponding summaries of the stories they illustrated.
