Exhibition. Opened April 2, 1955 and closed May 1, 1955. Located in the Morgan Memorial Hall of Minerals and Gems at the American Museum of Natural History. "Russian Easter Eggs" was an exhibition of decorative eggs carved from many different semi-precious stones.

Summary

"Russian Easter Eggs" was an exhibition of decorative eggs carved from many different semi-precious stones. The principle minerals used were those which produced red and green eggs, the colors which represented Czarist Russia. The exhibition was on view in the Morgan Hall of Minerals and Gems of the American Museum of Natural History for a month starting on April 2, 1955.
