Summary

"Birds of Argentina" featured 26 watercolors of Argentine birds by Salvador Magno. Robert Cushman Murphy, Chairman of the Museum's Department of Birds, stated that his work was "simple, faithful and strikingly decorative." The exhibition, sponsored by the Williams Foundation, was on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from April 2 through May 2, 1954.
