Exhibition. Opened January 29, 1954 and closed February 28, 1954. Located in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Peking -- a Reminiscence" was an exhibition of nearly 50 photographs taken by Ernest Rathenau between 1935 and 1936 before the Japanese occupation.

Summary

"Peking -- a Reminiscence" was an exhibition of nearly 50 photographs taken by Ernest Rathenau between 1935 and 1936 before the Japanese occupation. Rathenau was primarily interested in people going about their daily lives. The photographs were on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from January 29 through February 28, 1954.
