Exhibition. Opened May 4, 1951 and closed June 3, 1951. Located in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Dry Flies Used in Trout Fishing" featured 100 dry flies for use in trout fishing.

Summary

"Dry Flies Used in Trout Fishing" featured 100 dry flies for use in trout fishing. The exhibition was prepared by artist and trout fisherman Richard Salmon. Accompanying the flies were drawings and presentation of actual materials used in making dry flies. The exhibition included the historical and entomological background of many of the flies and what they represent in nature. The exhibition was on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from May 4 through June 3, 1951.
