Summary
Dinosaurs, Mammoths, and Cavemen: The Art of Charles R. Knight, organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History and guest curator Sylvia Czerkas, featured 75 paintings and illustrations and eight sculptures by the artist. For 40 years, Charles R. Knight created lifelike restorations of extinct animals for the American Museum of Natural History (1, p. 1-2).
