"Recycling America's Resources" was an exhibition tracing recycling's history in America from the Colonial period to the current day techniques used to recycle.

Summary

"Recycling America's Resources" was an exhibition tracing recycling's history in America from the Colonial period to the current day techniques used to recycle. A major thrust of the exhibition's message was the acute need to recycle more metallics, paper, textiles and other scrap material. The exhibit, sponsored by the National Association of Recycling Industries, was on view in the Akeley Gallery on the second floor of the American Museum of Natural History from June 8 through August 31, 1976.
