Summary

To signal Fire Prevention Week at the Museum, an exhibition of asbestos and articles was held to show some of the applications of this important fire-resisting material. The material forming the exhibit was lent and installed by the Johns-Manville Company. It was held in the American Museum of Natural History from October 2-9, 1922.
