Scope and Contents From the Series: This series contains 106 objects, which include a variety of photographic processes. The majority are either albertypes or salt prints. There are two types of photographs that can be distinguished as of interest to T.R Peale. The first would be landscapes/urban scenes. Many of these are of Washington D.C. where Titian Peale lived and worked in the latter half of his life. Scope and Contents The Titian Ramsay Peale collection consists of approximately 500 objects. The majority of these are prints/illustrations (200), but there are also over 100 photographs and 65 drawings. Though the collection is attributed to Titian Peale, a number of other family members may have contributed objects, including Albert Peale and Coleman Sellers.
