Scope and Contents
SEGMENT 1: Christmas Around the World. In a remote broadcast from a Benedictine convent in Bethlehem, Connecticut, a valuable collection of miniature cr̊che figures, fifteenth century Italian wood carvings are seen. Arranged for the story of Christmas, the entire collection of 150 carvings is presented, representing Christmas figures from all races and cultures. SEGMENT 2: Oil Well #5. The second segment is the fifth and last report on the oil well in Purcell, Oklahoma. Robert Northshield is seen celebrating under a gushing oil well.
