About the Music: the music heard in this section represents a variety of styles from northeastern Zaire. 1. Mangbetu signal drum; 2. Meje marching song with sanza by Ebogoma Gabriel; 3. Ngbandi dance with large sanzas and long bamboo pole beaten by men; 4. Mangbetu court orchestra of Chief Danga Dambo; 5. Mbuit elephant-hunting song.
