Press releases for the following temporary exhibitions: "Black Wings: The American Black in Aviation" (1983)"The Planets" (1980), Sonja Eisenberg's "New Horizons" (1980)"Cosmic Art" (1979) and "Images of Earth from Space" (1979). Press information for the Hall of the Sun opening (1976) and astronomical events such as Halley's Comet and those affecting the moon and the planets.

Includes various documents including paper, pamphlets and web print-outs relating to terabyte archiving, Digital Sky project, animation storyboards for planet passages, work plans for visual archives, and other supporting materials.

Contains documents regarding planning the construction and operation of the original Hayden Planetarium, including reports on financing and estimated costs made by The American Museum of Natural History Planetarium Authority, New York State and the City of New York laws and deed documents created to authorize the planetarium construction.
