Summary
"The Aurora Gem Collection and the Goldberg Collection" featured colored diamonds containing some of the rarest natural "fancy" colored diamonds in the world and included 153 diamonds from the two collections. The Aurora Gem Collection contained 128 natural colored diamonds, and the collection from the William Goldberg Diamond Corporation consisted of 25 diamonds. The curator for the exhibition was George E. Harlow, the Curator in the American Museum's Department of Mineral Sciences. The collections were on view in the Morgan Memorial Hall of Gems of the American Museum of Natural History starting March 9, 1988 and continuing through April, 1989.
