"American Gemstone Jewelry Collection" exhibited a representative collection of native American gemstones, fashioned into fine jewelry featuring 31 pieces. The collection, created by the American Gem Society and designed by Aldo Cipullo, included a bracelet of star-shaped gold links adorned with blue sapphires from Montana, a red garnet from North Carolina and many small diamonds. The exhibition was on view in the Hall of Minerals and Gems of the American Museum of Natural History from December 3, 1979 through January 27, 1980.
