Exhibition. Opened November 1, 1968 and closed November 30, 1968. Located in the Grand Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Live New Guinea Pythons" featured two live pythons captured in New Guinea.

Summary

"Live New Guinea Pythons" featured two live pythons captured in New Guinea. The pythons---one a Green Python and the other a D'Albertis Python--- were exhibited in a glass-enclosed case simulating their natural surroundings. The pythons, part of the Museum's Herpetology Department's collection, were on view in the 77th St. Foyer at The American Museum of Natural History from November 1 through November 30, 1968 as the Exhibit of the Month.
