1968 July 1 - 1968 July 31
"Pre-Columbian Clay Figurines", an Exhibit of the Month, featured two Pre-Columbian clay figurines from Mexico. The fired-clay sculptures were estimated to have been made between 600-1000 A.D. and became part of the new Hall of Mexico and Central America. The figurines were on view in the 77th St. foyer of The American Museum of Natural History from July 1 through July 30, 1968.
