Summary
"Plant Portraits" featured 50 paintings of pharmaceutical plants by Ida Hrubesky Pemberton. The paintings offered the layman an opportunity to see the source of many well-known medicines. The paintings were owned by the University of Colorado Museum at Boulder, and the exhibition was circulated throughout the country under the auspices of the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibit Service. The exhibition was on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from March 14 through April 4, 1956.
