Exhibition. Opened July 28, 1950 and closed July 30, 1950. Located in the Grand Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Army Chaplains Corps" was an exhibition commemorating the 175th anniversary of the Corps of Chaplains, United States Army.

Summary

"Army Chaplains Corps" was an exhibition commemorating the 175th anniversary of the Corps of Chaplains, United States Army. The exhibition showed the role played by Army chaplains in both war and in peacetime. Highlight of the exhibit was a scene picturing the sinking of the SS Dorchester when chaplains sacrificed their lives for the troops. The exhibition was prepared by The Chaplains Corps of the First Army Headquarters and was on view in the 77th Street Foyer of the American Museum of Natural History from July 28 through July 30, 1950.
