"Colorful Congo Uranium" featured a collection of uranium ore from the Belgian Congo. Central to the exhibition were the rich uranium ores from the world's richest mine, Shinkolobwe, in the Belgian Congo. They were part of a large collection of Belgian Congo minerals presented to Frederick H. Pough, Museum Curator of Physical Geology and Mineralogy, by the Union Miniere du Haut Katanga.
