Exhibition. Opened December 8, 1950 and closed January 29, 1950. Located in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Nile River Photographs" featured 110 photograph taken by Life Magazine photographer Eliot Elisofon and documented the trip down the entire length of the Nile.

Summary

"Nile River Photographs" featured 110 photograph taken by Life Magazine photographer Eliot Elisofon and documented the trip down the entire length of the Nile. The exhibition was designed by Bernard Quint, Assistant Art Director of Life Magazine, and Eliot Elisofon in cooperation with Katherine Beneker of the Museum's Special Exhibition Department. The Elisofon show was held in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from December 8, 1950 through January 29, 1951.
