Summary
"Where There's Life: Central Park Awakens" was a music and multi-screen presentation depicting the transition of Central Park from winter to spring. Produced for the American Museum of Natural History by Motiva, Ltd., it was described as a "non-scientific, purely esthetic and emotional portrayal of Central Park in the throes of cyclical change." The projected color images were accompanied by the original music of Michael Valenti. The presentation was scheduled to be on view for at least three months in the Corner Gallery (4th floor) of the American Museum of Natural History starting March 20, 1974. Due to popular demand, the exhibit returned March 19 through May, 1976.
