Exhibition. Opened March 1979 and closed March 31, 1979. Located the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History. "Cosmic Art" featured the paintings of Mexican-born artists Leonardo Nierman and Jorge Espinosa.

Summary

"Cosmic Art" featured the paintings of Mexican-born artists Leonardo Nierman and Jorge Espinosa. Nierman's paintings depicted his interpretation of nature in outerpsace, whereas Espinosa's work portrayed a vision of landscapes on worlds yet unknown. The exhibition was on view of the first floor of the Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History through March 31, 1979.
